Ministry Aims

We believe that entrance into the kingdom of God comes only through the new birth (regeneration; John 3:3). Whoever believes in Christ will have everlasting life (John 3:16).

In keeping with the doctrine of plenary, verbal inspiration, we believe in the verse-by-verse exposition of Scripture during Sunday morning worship (2 Tim 3:16) that we may be transformed by the renewing of our mind in conformity to Christ (Romans 12:1-2)

Origins

This organization was originally known as the Palmer Congregational Church of Hanson (previous name of this community). In 1958 the name was changed to the Burtrum Evangelical Free Church and affiliated with the Evangelical Free Church of America. In 1980 the name was changed to the Faith Community Church of Burtrum and the church was dis-associated from the Evangelical Free denomination.
